Current Program:
Project re:Fresh.

Last year was super hard. This year we want to provide a completely different space where you can “refresh” what it means to be a friend, a student, a community member, and most importantly, a valued human being.

Project re:Fresh is a new program launched by Seen52 for the ’21-’22 school year. We offer recreational, academic and team-building activities for middle and high school youth impacted by the foster care system and/or unstable housing. We currently manage two after-school programs, in Oakland and Hayward.

re:Fresh Coaches & Volunteers.

Hey everyone! I was born and and raised in California and have been an educator in the East Bay since 2012. During the pandemic, I started Seen52 and this year, we began piloting Project re:Fresh. My biggest hope is that through deep projects and learning trips, social connections, and academic support we can help you figure out what’s out there and how to get to and be who you want to be!

In my free time, I love phone calls, stories, aerial arts, and backpacking.

Taylor (Lead Coach)

Hello! My name is Taylor (she/her). I was born and raised in East Oakland, CA and I attended all OUSD public schools growing up. I always knew I wanted to work with youth and help keep them engaged and connected to their communities. I’m currently in a Masters Program at CSU East Bay for Social Work. I’ve worked with foster youth for 2 years now and I want to keep supporting as much as I can while earning my degree. I really enjoy food, eating and cooking it. I love to spend time with family and friends and chatting about new music.
